Spring/ Summer: Must-Have Handbag I Michael Kors

Spring/ Summer: Must-Have Handbag I Michael Kors

Sipping wine at the Riviera, strolling along the markets in Marrakech or having an afternoon tea in London? That’s exactly what I pictured myself doing when I first
saw the Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Saffiano in a Store during my trip to Florida. This beauty basically yells summer vacation :o) After a long struggle with myself and my bank account I finally decided to get it and have loved it eversince. The best thing about it? It basically can be combined with everything! Though the best combination I wore it was with a long white dress, it can be worn with almost every colour and therefore almost counts as a basic 😉 Instead of the white dress just choose jeans, converse and a plain shirt and you’re good for an everyday Shopping Outfit. At the end of the post you’ll find an example of an outfit I wore the other day 🙂

I currently love this combination <3

Hawai’i Adventure Part One

For most of the people Hawai’i remains to be THE paradise to visit. And it is indeed like a dream to be there. We lived there for a whole semester to
study Communication and Social Sciences and to experience the Hawaiian Lifestyle. Watching TV shows before we actually went to Hawai’i the images always looked gorgeous and unreal. I was thinking that this must be photoshoped because it can’t be that beautiful 😉 but it is!

We lived in the heart of Waikiki, together with the thousands of tourists coming to Hawai’i every week. Waikiki Beach was still beautiful, we learned surfing there and it was only two blocks away from our apartment, but it was actually really crowded. So we started to go on roadtrips across the island to see if there are really beaches we always saw on TV. Although sometimes they were hidden, we found a few, which made us speechless. No, it was definitely not photoshoped, this is real! I couldn’t believe it. Lanikai Beach was only one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Our Roadtrip also lead us to the North Shore – my personal favorite part of the island! The waves were huge and you could watch the professional surfers doing incredible moves between the rocks in the ocean. On North Shore it is sometimes a little more windy than in Waikiki, that’s why there aren’tt as many tourists. If you are lucky you can see turtles at the Turtle Beach or go to Haleiwa and check out the surfer shops there and have great lunch.
There are just a few pictures to show you how Oa’hu looks like and what you can experience there. Since it is very warm in Hawai’i the whole year you can pack your summer outfits. Get your short pants and dresses out of your closet and get ready to explore the island. We are here also showing you some outfits we were wearing during our stay there.
For Hawai’i Adventure Part Two we want to show you the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands – Big Island with its volcano and the different nature there as well as some incredible outfits we were wearing on the other island, so stay tuned 🙂

A Day on the Coast

 Black round Scarf
RAY-BAN Sunglasses
Cubic Zirconia Earrings
Although spring is coming, there is still lots of wind on the East Coast. I hope this is changing soon because I can’t

wait for spring: leather jackets, ballerinas or espadrilles, it is great to combine those pieces. I actually have a great passion for leather jackets, but I will focus on those in following posts 🙂 For now to keep yourself warm I would like to show you this beautiful jacket. The one on the picture is in a hazelnut brown but is also available in other colors if you prefer darker or brighter ones. Combine it with skinny jeans and some boots, for example from ASH or UGG Australia. Especially the Ash Boots can change it into a rock outfit, which looks also great for a day on the Coast.

So keep yourself warm from the wind until spring is finally deciding to stay for more than a couple days 🙂

Dress(ed) up in New York City

Last summer I spent some days in New York City after an amazing Roadtrip across the States with my friends. These two dresses I pretty much wore a lot during my trip but they especially fitted into the scene in NYC. The city literally is
my favorite one in the whole world (and I lived in Waikiki for 6 months :D). I just love the life in the city, central park and all the amazing buildings. You just instantly feel at home. Constantly you see so many inspiring people. Central Park is one the most relaxing parks I’ve been to and since I’m from a pretty small village and used to nature around me that means a lot 😀 The city is also a great place to experiment with new looks and be brave with your outfit because you could basically war anything and get away with it. So after me rambling about my love for the city this post is about two dresses I loved to wear when i was there. The DKNY one is just really classy and almost Audrey Hepburn like and I feel so chic and fancy wearing it though combined with sandals it’s an amazing everyday dress. With heels of course you could really dress it up 😉 Since I wouldn’t recommend heels in NYC if you’re a walker like I am I combined it with sandals from Macy’s. The second dress I bought at H&M and it’s a more summerish dress and lot more floating. My Tiffanys necklace looks really cute with it and I like to wear my black Tommy Hilfiger bag with it.

The following are some pictures that were taken during my stay there, so enjoy and hopefully be inspired :o)

Dress: H&M
Shoes: Macy’s
Dress: DKNY
Bag: Tommy Hilfiger
Necklace: Tiffany & Co.

Spontaneous Trip to D.C.

During Spring Break we decided to go on an awesome spontaneous weekend trip to Washington D.C.
A day full of sightseeing works great covered in

a Burberry Coat by Burberry London as well as the Scarf which is a blend. I combined these two designer pieces with grey short pants, nylons, a wide shirt and UGG Boots.
